Child Care Resource Connection (CCRC) assists in coordinating and helping generate accessible quality, affordable child care services in San Luis Obispo County and neighboring counties through the following initiatives for families and child care providers.

The Child Care Food Program is the only program that expands services beyond the geographic area of San Luis Obispo County. All programs provide services in English and Spanish.

 As a leading nonprofit, the YMCA is committed to strengthening communities throughout the nation. Your local Y seeks to fill gaps in community services and develop activities, strengthening communities across San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. The Channel Islands YMCA is an association of seven Ys including Camarillo, North Ventura, Montecito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, and Lompoc. 

 We all experience emotional ups and downs from time to time caused by events in our lives. Mental health conditions go beyond these emotional reactions and become something longer lasting. They are medical conditions that cause changes in how we think and feel and in our mood. They are not the result of personal weakness, lack of character or poor upbringing. 

 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion cannot be the stand-alone work of one committee or even a small group of individuals. They are the work of every PTA member who decides to serve the families and children in their community.
